Child Safe Statement of Commitment

The ACO is committed to the safety and well being of all children and young people accessing our services and the welfare of the children in our care will always be a priority. We have zero tolerance to child abuse, and all allegations and safety concerns will be treated seriously. We believe that all children have a right to feel and be safe, respected, valued and protected from harm. We are committed to providing a child safe environment where children and young people are safe and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives. Particular attention will be paid to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as the safety of children with a disability.
