We welcomed our new CEO Pete Haydon, who commenced his role with the ACO last month. Pete has started his time at the ACO with getting to know staff across the organisation and visiting teams at our metro clinics.
“There are a lot of excellent people here and I get the sense that many are eager to play a positive part in helping to evolve the ACO. This is a fantastic organisation and I feel proud to be working alongside everyone. I am also looking forward to continuing the Council’s vision of a modern ACO that honours and respects its heritage, but enhances its relevance in the health care landscape, and engenders pride from Members.”
Pete joins the ACO after many years working in executive management roles within the not-for-profit and corporate sectors. His most recent role has been as CEO of Optometry Victoria / South Australia where he built a solid reputation as a coalition builder, and a pragmatic, collegial leader.
