ACO Eye Health operates a dedicated optometry clinic for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people within the Victorian Aboriginal Health Service’s (VAHS) site in Fitzroy. Staffed with experienced optometrists with extensive cultural training and a commitment to First Nations healthcare, this clinic is open on Tuesday and Fridays. Appointments for the eye clinic can be made directly with VAHS.
In addition to vision assessments and glasses, our comprehensive eye exams analyse your complete ocular health helping to prevent, diagnose and treat all eye concerns. This thorough approach allows us to detect early signs of eye disease including glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataract, diabetic retinopathy and other eye conditions.
